William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s L’art et la litterature, a favorite from the Museum’s collection, has returned after having been on tour since February 2019 in the exhibition “Bouguereau & America.” The Museum’s exhibition “The Muses” is inspired by, and a celebration of the painting’s homecoming.
“The Muse” opens in the West Wing Galleries on 27 April – through 14 August 2021.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 10am – 5pm; Saturday, Noon-5pm. Closed Sunday, Monday and Holidays.
Admission: $7 per person, free to those under 18. Admission is always free to Museum Members!

Directions: Exit 56 from Route 17/86 (Church Street Exit). Turn left at the forth traffic signal onto Lake Street. Free parking is available in the Museum parking lot at the rear of the building, bordering Baldwin Street.
